SalsaIndy Group Lessons
 Hello and thanks for taking the time to explore Latin dance with SalsaIndy. We look forward to sharing with you the joys of Latin dancing here in Indianapolis. Learning to dance is not just about learning dance steps. It is also an excellent outlet to increase your social network and create new friendships.
Our classes are taught by professional dance instructors (see bio's below). Our classes come in four-week sessions and are arranged according to levels (ie. beginner 1/2/3).
We also host monthly salsa social where you can practice your new salsa moves and meet other dancers in our growing community.

January | February
While not require we are recommending that new students to take our Intro to Latin Dance lessons before they begin with our Salsa lessons. The learning curve for these dance styles are easier than Salsa and will give you an additional edge and confidence when taking our Salsa lessons. If you already know the fundamentals of Bachata and Merengue you can skip this class and begin with our Salsa lessons.

Costs per person per class:
$12 pay as you go
$40 for 1 full session - or 4 consecutive lessons
$65 for 2 full sessions - or 8 consecutive lessons
Dance Partner is not required.
Payment Options: Cash or check (payable to SalsaIndy) is due at the
first class session.

Here are the bios of our dance instructors.
 Marques Gunter [ Contact Marques ]
Marques, founder of SalsaIndy, is a young and energetic dancer. Marques discovered Latin dance here in Indianapolis 5 years ago. His love for both the Latin music and dance has fueled his desire teach, perform and compete in the midwest.
Instructor for the 2008 and 2009 Cincinnati Salsa Congress
Performer at the 2007 Colombus Salsa Fest
Performed at various local functions (Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, Eli Lilly, DFAS, etc)
Placed third in the 2006 IntoSalsa Dance competition
Marques currently teaches group lessons in downtown Indianapolis (Riolo Dance Studio) and in Carmel (Performers Edge) and performs for large and small audiences.
All levels of salsa, bachata and merengue.

You may have seen me on the dance floor before. I have performed with several different performance groups including IntoSalsa, SalsaIndy, and People, Paint, and Percussion. I am available for group lessons and private lessons.(If female then no partner required)
